About Us

We are a coalition of citizens and organizations concerned about our health care crisis. Health is a life and death issue and an intolerably high proportion of our fellow Minnesotans suffer from lack of care. To alleviate the suffering, we must build a viable health care system that delivers comprehensive and affordable care to everyone. Such a system must deal with the distinctive problem of our current health care system: high costs and disincentives to delivering care introduced by multiple-payer financing. Objective research, the experience of other countries and our own experience with Medicare show that financing by a public fund provides the efficiencies necessary to a health care system that works for everybody.
